Built toOutlastEverything.
Cowhide upper. Vibram Montagna sole. Goodyear welt. Steel shank. Built for wildland fire, 2,000-mile thru-hikes, and decades of fence line.
Three layers.
Zero compromise.
The skin that takes the hit.
Full-grain hides — the tightest, most durable fiber structure in the hide. Not corrected, not buffed, not sanded. The natural grain stays intact, so every scratch, every scuff becomes part of the patina. 3–4mm thickness. Resists moisture before you even oil it.

Rubber that earns its name.
Vibram's Montagna compound — 5mm multi-directional lugs designed for wet granite, loose shale, and burned-out hillside. Not the budget Vibram. The compound that Himalayan guides and wildland crews have trusted for 40 years. Resoleable when the lugs wear flat.
The spine that never folds.
A full-length hardened steel shank runs from heel to ball. It prevents the sole from rolling on uneven ground, transfers load across the entire foot on rocky terrain, and keeps your arch from collapsing under a pack weight. The piece that separates a trail boot from a hiking shoe.
Every layer
on purpose.

2.0mm corrected split hide. Sanded surface. Good water resistance, breaks in faster.
Adhesive bond holds sole to upper. Cannot be resoled. End-of-life when sole wears.
Lightweight EVA. Compresses over time. Good cushion for the first 300 miles.
Nylon half-shank covers heel to arch. Adequate for day hikes and light trail.
3mm lugs. Excellent on dry trail. Loses grip on wet granite above 8,000 ft.

miles walked.
“I burned through three pairs of cement-bond boots in one season on the Plumas fire. These came off the line with me after 22 days. Sole's still got tread. I'll resole them this winter.”

“I finished the PCT in 2,650 miles. The cork midsole molded to my foot by the time I hit the Sierra. By Oregon, the boot felt like a part of me. Nothing broke. Nothing separated.”
“I've worn the same pair for four years running fence on our place. Oiled them twice a season. They've got more miles on them than my truck. When the sole finally went, I sent them back and got a new sole put on.”
